Job Description:**

GDIT is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager for an upcoming bid for the following:

DSPEC is seeking an Deputy Program Manager (DPM) in support of the Background Investigation Submission Support Services for the US Army Personnel Security Investigation Center of Excellence (PSI-COE). The Department of the Army, Army Material Command (AMC), Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Communications Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), Army Personnel Security Investigation Center of Excellence (PSI-CoE), has a continuing requirement for Background Investigation Submission Support Services at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

The PM is responsible for the overall administrative management of Contractor personnel and ensuring the achievement of all contract performance requirements. This is a non-personal services requirement for the administrative processing, validation, review, and call center support for personnel security/suitability background investigations in support of the US Army missions worldwide. Additionally, this requirement will provide support to administrative pre-employment screening functions (e.g. installation records check (IRC) and process review board (PRB) documentation) for designated (i.e. childcare) positions.


+ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, or human resources or five (5) years' experience in the personnel security field.

+ Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in the management of personnel security related operations.

+ Previous or current US Army experience

+ Active Secret Clearance


+ Experience with OPM/NBIB highly preferred.

+ DPM must have experience managing at minimum 50 staff members.

+ Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), the NBIB Central Verification System (CVS), Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), and related databases.

+ Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
