Job Details:**Please note, this is for a Vascular position The Technical Supervisorfulfills the role of Technical Director as defined by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) and assumes the leadership role in obtaining and maintaining accreditation in either Echocardiography or Vascular Testing. Works independently and collaboratively under the direction of Clinical Manager, Cardiovascular Ultrasound and the Medical Director to ensure quality patient care and team member compliance with both IAC and organizational standards. Also responsible for environmental safety and effective equipment maintenance/function. Assists Clinical Manager through the implementation and maintenance of department QA & QI programs and day-to-day lab operations at all testing sites and locations. Serves as subject matter expert within the scope of specialty, role models professionalism, provides training and mentoring when necessary. Delivers direct patient care, performing diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound imaging procedures to a patient population, neonate to geriatric, as defined in unit-specific standards. Education & Training: Successful completion of an accredited sonography program with a vascular concentration. BLS required. Associate Degree required. Bachelor degree in natural sciences or healthcare related field preferred.Vascular: RVT/RVS required with extensive vascular ultrasound experience Work Orientation & Experience: Minimum of three years of cardiac/vascular ultrasound experience in an acute care setting required. Experience with IAC Vascular accreditation preferred.
