Vendor Training & Events Coordinator
Overview




Tessco, a leader in the wirless industry is seeking a Vendor Training and Events Coordinator to be part of the Tessco Product Marketing Management team. This role will collaborate across the organization to assist in driving and delivering success of Tessco's vendor training and events programs. This position is the main interface between all functions supporting product launch with great visibility inside and outside of the company.




Responsibilities





+ Lead training and development projects working with subject matter experts, managers, and vendors


+ Coordinate internal and external training activities including but not limited to sales support, scheduling, customer/vendor coordination, equipment coordination, record keeping, and more.


+ Maintain Employee Training Records through appropriate database program


+ Maintain the training calendar and training opportunities


+ Tracks the success of training materials and programs, and makes improvements


+ Documents employee attendance or performance at mandatory training sessions


+ Responsible for internal and external student registrations and training records


+ Maintain training library across the various websites and LMS platform


+ Monitor effectiveness and evaluate feedback of training


+ Identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles and nature of training delivered


+ Develop, administer and measure effectiveness of training programs


+ Other duties as may be assigned in supporting the Tessco Knowledge Services team





Qualifications





+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Training and Development or Human Resources preferred


+ Strong experience working with employees and vendor partners


+ Ability to perform as a strong team member with the initiative to drive results


+ Strong organizational and time management skills


+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written


+ Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office Suite


+ Proactive thinker and team player
